【摘要】:Thisproposedaddendumaddressespressure-reliefdischargepipingrequirementsforlow-pressurerefrigerationsystemsusingR-718(water)asarefrigerant.Theserefrigerationsystemshavesafetyreliefdevicesthatprimarilyprovidereliefprotectionforheat-exchangertubefailure.Duetothepresentrequirementsforvent-pipeterminationaccordingtoSection9.7.8,liquidwaterwouldbedischargedatahighelevation,whichisnotdesirable.TheproposedchangewouldaddanexceptiontoSection9.7.8andpermitalternatelocationofthereliefventterminationforR-718systems.
